Summary: The place is beautiful and the castle is just beautiful to look at . I was a little disappointed with my lodge as not really a lodge like you see in the photos online as it was a lodge that was divided into 4 seperate rooms so really just a hotel like room . But it was a lovely room

Summary: Wonderful Castle out in the countryside, fantastic room, peaceful lush grounds, very helpful staff. Wish we could have stayed longer. They even made us a “to go” bag, when we had to depart prior to breakfast.

Summary: This is a golfer’s paradise. My golfer uncle from US would love this place. I am not a golfer but stayed at the lodges to attend a wedding in nearby Athy. The receptionists were lovely and extremely helpful. I should have taken their names. A special shoutout to the manager (again I didn’t take her name) of Hermione's Restaurant Friday evening 1st May and Saturday’s morning 2nd May for breakfast. She was very friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful accommodation and delicious food. If you are a golfer, this will be a dream vacation. Thank you kindly, Kilkea Castle.

Summary: Lovely place to stay, the lodges are separate to the castle. Short walk to the main castle And beside the restaurants. Room was spacious and the bed was big. The TV system /channels and remote not very good though. We did the small spa, which was lovely. 25 per person for an hour. Breakfast was in the castle for us as we stayed in Feb, otherwise I think the lodges are in hermiones restaurant. The breakfast was lovely.

Summary: We stayed in the lodges accommodation which are modern and comfortable. Food in the Hermione restaurant was delicious with plenty of options. The staff are so friendly I cannot afford this gorgeous hidden gem

Summary: We got a room off the castle area, next to the gold course. Room size is nice but not great. Bathroom was strange and fan was very loud.
